Além disso, a atriz postou recentemente em suas redes sociais uma homenagem ao recém falecido Maj. Stephen Del Bagno, que foi um dos instrutores dela durante as visitas e laboratórios que ela fazia na base da força área durante a pré-produção do filme. O piloto morreu na trágica queda do seu F16 durante um vôo de reconhecimento e rotineiro na semana passada:

Jackson reprisando seu papel como Nick Fury, Clark Gregg voltando como o Agente Phillip Coulson, Jude Law no papel de Mar-Vell, Djimon Hounsou como Korath, Lee Pace como Ronan, Gemma Chan como Minerva, além de Ben Mendelson, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune temte e McKenna Grace. A data de lançamento nos Estados Unidos é 8 de Março de 2019 e Capitã Marvel será dirigido por Anna Boden e Ryan Fleck.
